This 'Magazine Cover' of Konstrevy no. 1, 1963 is
printed from a zink plate I manually also worked on drawing by hand a few lines
before the printing and that makes the metalplate to the original art work. The
printed work (the art magazine Konstrevy, Bonniers Publisher Sweden, constituted
an edition of approx. - at that time 1963 - not more than 2.000
copies.
The art work referred to a 4 page article about
me written by Kurt Bergengren in the very same issue of the biggest
Scandinavian art magazine.
I was offered 12 pages in that issue by the
editor Karin Lindegren - later the only female director 1977-1979 for Museum of
Modern Art i Stockholm Sweden - but suggested the editor that I would like to
share the space in the magazine with two other contemporary artists and friends;
Ulf Rahmberg and Lars Hillersberg. The issue No 1 of Konstrevy 1963 also
portraited Marcel duChamp and Oyvind Fahlstrom and others.
The reproduction of my original art work have no
title and are used in ToutFaith online as a dominating illustration related
to Marcel duChamp.
I find it unfair that my work is lacking credits
and therefore it would be correct to add on a small text beside the picture with
my name:
Such credits would enrich the contents on your
online page and also be a win win, for all of us.
